solo and collaborative piano:

performance and instruction

Cori Belle is a concert pianist specializing in the fields of collaborative piano and choral music. She accompanies both student and professional musicians in festivals, recitals, and concerts, and maintains a private teaching studio in the Bothell area.

Since making her residence in the Seattle area, Cori’s collaborative work has included several world premieres across the United States with the United Voices of Antioch; musical directing with Second Story Repertory and Studio East; and choral accompanying in local schools, churches, and choirs.  She is a frequent collaborator for both vocalists and instrumentalists.

Cori enjoys her role as founding artistic director and performing member of Indie Musikhaus house concerts. Her self-recorded and self-produced solo classical album, Commonplace Beauty, has received critical acclaim. International Piano called it “a beautifully constructed programme.”

“The Ives (Sonata No. 2, “The Alcotts”) is a good interpretation, with Belle locating the ecstasy inherent in the climactic chords…”

“The third movement of Ginastera Suite de danzas criollas is the finest, with a nicely delineated canon …”

“ … a beautifully constructed programme…”
