I love to play the piano for my own enjoyment at home and in collaboration with other instrumentalists, singers, and in the theatre. It is my hope in my private piano studio that I might equip my students with the skills necessary to bring them to the place where they can sit down at the piano and play “for fun.” I don’t expect all of my students to go on to major in music, perform in great concert halls, or even to commit to lessons for the next 10 years, but I do hope they will learn to understand and appreciate music as they gain skills necessary to play the piano. |
