Leadership Activities:
Powerful Teaching and Learning participant, 2005-2008.
Implemented PTL into teaching practice. Demonstrated PTL to colleagues using classroom video recording. Hosted BERC research group and out-of-district guests to observe PTL practices.
Literacy Committee Chair, 2006-08.
Provided leadership to team, wrote grant, and obtained funding for annual literacy week. Events included 3-day author visits and a family literacy night, with special focus on multi-lingual families.
