Penguin Piano: Keyboard Geography Game

Beginner piano students need lots of varied practice with keyboard geography, and they can do it on and off the keys! I designed this game for a student of mine who is going on vacation for two weeks and will miss a couple of piano lessons in that time. In addition to some practice videos, I am sending him off with this game that can be played alone or with parent or siblings!

To play the game, download and print as many copies as you would like. Students assemble the black and white keys in the correct order, then place the letter-note penguins on the proper key. They self-correct using the included Answer Key. Make it a competition by printing multiple copies and racing to see who can complete their keyboard with penguins first! Or, make it a challenge by printing a whole piano keyboard worth of keys and penguins, and have your student build it in a specified amount of time!
