A virtual living room concert...in your living room!

Soprano Seiko Werts and pianist Cori Belle collaborate on a musical program recalling the faith and hope on which America was founded. An inspiring collection of spirituals, Beethoven's variations on God Save the King, a selection from Copland's Appalachian Spring, and Gershwin's Summer Time are sure to lift your spirits.

True Colors: Songs of Love and Community

KCS’ traditional February “love” concerts continue, with the added twist of loving your neighbor—in an election year. The program features a variety of choral favorites, from Ola Gjeilo’s beautiful setting of Ubi Caritas to Matthew Brown’s stunningly beautiful choral arrangement of the contemporary anthem True Colors. A special feature of this program will be the world premiere of a new community-themed hymn, composed for the occasion by renowned Seattle area composer John Muehleisen. Complimentary chocolate and wine add to the fun, and make this beloved annual tradition an event you won’t want to miss!

Kirkland Choral Society's beloved holiday concerts feature JS Bach’s Christmas Oratorio cantata 5-6, plus seasonal favorites and new delights focusing on the guiding light of sun, moon, and stars. The chorus is joined by orchestra partner Philharmonia Northwest and a sampling of KCS’ own soloists, plus fiddler extraordinaire Brandon Shane Vance, and special guests: the Lake Washington High School Choir. Cori Belle accompanies on piano.

Eastside Sings

It’s a Sing-Along! Join four established Eastside choirs in the thrill of singing great works of choral music in July 2019. Choirs from Bellevue, Kirkland and Issaquah present the Eastside Sings program. On July 29, Kirkland Choral Society and Bellevue Chamber Chorus will host a community sing-along of Bach's B Minor Mass with Cori Belle accompanying at the piano. $10 at the door. Bring your own score or borrow one at the event.

Kirkland Choral Society presents Carl Orff's deliciously indulgent setting of medieval poetry on the pleasures of food, drink and love for chorus, 2 pianos, and percussion. featuring a brilliant line-up of soloists: Tess Altiveros, soprano, Keith Harris, baritone, and Josè Luis Muñoz, countertenor. And, in honor of our 30th anniversary season, KCS will present the world premiere of Donald Skirvin's Canticles of Crimson - settings of poetry by Carl Sandburg, commissioned for the occasion. Top it all off with complimentary wine and chocolate for an evening of absolute bliss.

Piano Music by Mozart and German Song

University House Wallingford, 4400 Stone Way N, Seattle

The Ladies Musical Club of Seattle presents a FREE one-hour concert of beautiful music at University House Wallingford! Featured will be pianist Emiko Hori playing Mozart's Piano Sonata no. 10, as well as Étude, op. 10 by Chopin. Also on the program are German songs by Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel as well as arias by Lehár and Mozart performed by soprano, Molly Tomlinson and collaborative pianist, Cori Belle.
